Artist Statement

Small inspirations and anything in life can be made into jewelry, and it doesn't require a lot of big ideas. In artistic creation, I am most concerned about whether the work itself comes from life. There are many details in life that can become art after imagination and improvement. Only the ones that are closest to life are the ones that move people's hearts most and resonate. I hope that through my work, people can integrate into their own lives and think about their past experiences, whether they have noticed them or are irretrievable.

GOLDEN

Shells and pearls were used as currency in ancient China. Echoing the chasing piece Which the characters “發財”，“大吉大利“，means be rich and wishes you all good luck. Gold represents wealth and makes people reminds of coins.

So in my creation I use quartz, pearls as decoration hang around the chasing pieces and shells are swing under the necklace.

River Cloud

Hollow and solid silver panels are used to express the shapes of the clouds, and blue enamel is filled in at the junction to reflect the different colors reflected by small swirls in the river. Clouds and rivers are both elements of nature that I really like, so I put them together

Seaside

Pearls symbolize the sea, and shells are very common at the seaside. The two are closely connected, so I put the pearl between the shells to show the connection between the two
